Ms. Chaity Das
She joined the Beautician Course in the year 2012 and learned about advanced techniques of the course. After completion of the course she joined in a salon as a beautician and gather more experience in the field. She somehow managed to open a Beauty Parlour to raise her income. Considering her experience and ability JSS Agartala engaged her as Master Trainer of Beautician Course. As a representative of JSS Agartala she was sent to New Delhi to attend a programme of the Ministry. At present her monthly income has raised to Rs. 35 K
Pinki Chowhan
Pinki belongs to a very poor family and her educational qualification was only up to 10th standard. Knowing from one of her friend she visited JSS office and finally enrolled herself in the cutting tailoring training of 3.5 months course. After completion of the training she started taking orders from her local area and gradually her designs and finished products were admired by the customers. Today she is one of the leading designers in Abhoynagar Market where her Tailoring Shop is set up. She has also undergone training in Machine Embroidery and combined embroidery works in her products. At present her monthly income is almost 30k. She is very grateful to JSS Agartala.
Babilon Debbarma
He belongs to a poor family running a Pottery business. In the year 2013-2014 he got a chance to undergo Bakery training organised by JSS Agartala in a Centre nearby his house. He was very much interested to know preparation of different bakery items during the training. After the training he aimed to start a bakery unit in his village and sell the products in the nearby market. There was good demand of his products and he started to get orders of Cakes, Pastries etc during Christmas and other occasions. Then he applied for loan from PMEGP and got sanction of Rs 10 lakhs. He started with more enthusiasm visiting other blocks and villages to avail more orders. Now a days he is getting order from online market. He has engaged some unemployed youth in his unit and paying them around Rs. 2000 per month. His income has reached to Rs. 45 k per month .
Narottam Sarkar
Born and brought up in a poor cultivator family, he had to give up his studies. On seeing a banner of a training course of 2-3 wheeler repairing in the nearby area, he got interested and got admitted. After training he opened a small shop of repairing 2 & 3 wheeler. He used to repair old bike and try modify it to produce a good look. Seeing of his work he started good response from his customers. Presently Narottam has engaged three more boys in his unit as work load has increased a lot. Presently his income has reached to Rs. 15k per month.

Anjana Deb
On 4-11-2015 Anjana Deb along with a girl child was admitted in the Swadhar Greh. A few years after the child was born, her husband started abusing her taking country liquor. Every Day she was beaten by her husband. And at last he lost his mental balance, fall seriously ill and lost his last breath. Her in laws started torture and she was compelled to leave her house. Finally through CWC Agartala, she got admitted in the Swadhar Greh. There, she completed different vocational training. The NGO authority arranged a Job for her in a Xerox Centre with a remuneration of Rs. 3000/- . Her daughter fell seriously ill and on checkup it was found that she is suffering from Congenital Heart problem. The Samity admitted the child in ILS Hospital and she went on Heart surgery. Now Anjana Deb is working in DainiK Sambad Patrika Office and earning Rs. 8000/-. Her daughter is reading in Class- VI
Tanu Das
Tanu Das a resident of West Bengal was married to a boy from Tripura. After coming to her in laws house, she found that the family was not up to the mark and not so educated. Tanu Das a Graduate of Pure Science was keen to carry on studies but she was used as a maid for the household. Sometimes her husband used to torture her physically which became unbearable for her. Finally she took decision to leave the house and reached West Agartala Women PS. As requested by her for shelter she was sent to the Swadhar Greh in August 2021. On seeing her interest to education and study, the NGO authority engaged her as Teacher in Anurupa Academy, A residential School for Tribal Girls run by the Samity itself.
Nupur Das
Due to unbearable physical and mental torture by her Husband she left her house. Local Panchayat sent her to Amanikhuri Swadher Greah when she was pregnant. A few month later she gave birth to a girl child. She had undergone various vocational training like Tailoring, Embroidery, Beautician Course, Fast Food Preparation etc. After training she applied for loan from SC Corporation of Govt of Tripura which was sanctioned. She opened a Beauty Parlour and Tailoring Unit in a same complex and started income generation. Now she is satisfied with her income. Her daughter is now studying in NIT Tripura with Computer Science as her Subject. She is living her life with dignity and satisfaction.
Sneha Das
She is and orphan and was look after by Christian Missionaries of Kumarghat Shanti Palli Shishu Bhavan since her early child hood from their she was shifted to Abhoynagr Govt. Children Home. She was admitted to Govt school and read up to 10th standard after 18 years of age she was sent to NGO run Swadhar Greh . She sat for TBSE Madhyamik Examination and in the mean time was engaged in a Xerox Centre with a remuneration of Rs 2500/- than she was sent for a training of Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission of DDUGKY on Three months training of V - Mart retail Skill Development . After Training , at present she is engaged in TATA ZUDIO, a Shopping Mall in Bangaluru and earning Rs.10550/- . Now she is 22 years old.
